Lake Eildon

Lake Eildon has over 500 kilometres of shoreline, sheltered bays and safe swimming beaches and is Victoria's largest inland lake.

Visitors can relax by fishing, taking photographs or simply enjoying the scenic views with friends and family.

For the more adventurous you can enjoy trail rides, bush walks and exciting water sports such as water skiing. Lake Eidlon is a popular aquatic playground, perfect for canoeing, kayaking and sail boarding.

The region is an anglers paradise, with both Lake Eildon and the Howqua, Goulburn, Rubicon and Acheron rivers contain brown and Rainbow Trout, Murray Cod and Golden Perch.

There are many walking trails in Lake Eildon National Park that lead you through native forest and bush land, past grazing kangaroos to panoramic views.

Lake Eildon is only 50 minutes drive from Black Spur Inn. We have plenty of parking for boats and boys' toys.
